Willey Family Foundation Dedicates Patient Suite and Garden at the Aroostook House of Comfort

The Aroostook House of Comfort in Presque Isle, Maine, has reached a significant milestone with the naming of its first patient suite through their revitalized Naming Opportunities Campaign. The Willey Family Foundation pledged $15,000 annually in memory of Philip and Vivian Willey, exceeding the $50,000 requirement and also funding a memorial garden area outside the suite.

• The foundation has contributed over $47,000 to date, primarily supporting the Charity Care Fund established in 2022 for patients with financial needs
• The Aroostook House of Comfort is one of only four inpatient hospice homes in Maine, serving over 1,000 individuals since 2018
• The Naming Opportunities Campaign allows donors to create lasting legacies while supporting long-term hospice operations
• The facility operates in partnership with Northern Light Home Care & Hospice, providing essential end-of-life care services
