Penngrove's Stella Heath to sing National Anthem at Giants-Cubs game - Petaluma Argus-Courier

Penngrove vocalist Stella Heath recently performed at San Francisco's Yerba Buena Gardens Festival with Marcus Shelby and his Orchestra in a jazz suite celebrating Negro Leagues history.

Heath, a Sonoma County native who trained at Petaluma High School and later studied classical acting, rediscovered her passion for jazz after years performing Shakespeare. She returned to California in 2014 and formed the Bandjango Collectif while serving as Education Director for the Healdsburg Jazz Festival. Her upcoming performance includes singing the National Anthem at a Giants-Cubs game at Oracle Park.
