Florida State University announces that DeepWork Capital and Florida Funders, two leading Florida venture capital firms, will participate in FSU Discovery Days to support local startup funding and innovation.

The venture capital firms will contribute to FSU's weeklong celebration of research and innovation through two key events. Kathy Chiu from DeepWork Capital and Zach Brodsky from Florida Funders will provide fundraising guidance to Tallahassee entrepreneurs and judge the third annual Discovery Challenge, a "Shark Tank"-style pitch competition where FSU research-based startups compete for $50,000 in prizes.
