Construction underway on new long-term care home in Brighton - Quinte News

Ontario breaks ground on a new 256-bed long-term care facility called Presqu'ile Place in Brighton, with construction officially underway following Friday's ceremony.

The province announced construction has begun on this modern retirement home, which will feature eight resident home areas designed to create intimate living spaces. Each area includes dining spaces, lounges, and bedrooms with balconies. The facility will offer comprehensive amenities and is scheduled to welcome its first residents in 2027.
