AHCA/NCAL Announces 2025 Gold National Quality Award Recipients

The American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) announced the 2025 Gold Excellence in Quality Award recipients, recognizing three exceptional skilled nursing facilities.

Garden Park Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Louisiana, NHC HealthCare in Missouri, and Nottingham Health and Rehabilitation in Kansas earned this prestigious recognition for meeting rigorous performance standards in long-term and post-acute care. These facilities demonstrate exceptional person-centered care, clinical excellence, and systematic quality improvement practices that significantly enhance residents' lives.

• Only 56 facilities have achieved Gold level status since the program began in 1996
• Recipients must first earn Bronze and Silver awards before advancing to Gold recognition
• Awards are based on comprehensive performance metrics including leadership, strategic planning, and operational excellence
• Recognition ceremony will take place at the AHCA/NCAL Convention in Las Vegas this October
